T-Mobile US removes unlimited messaging extra for Galaxy Tab

T-Mobile US apparently removed its free messaging for the contract customers of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The extra was offered earlier this month by T-Mobile for the android slate and included free unlimited text, video and picture messaging.

Removing now this option, the mobile operator lost its advantage against the other US carriers that offer versions of the Galaxy Tab. It’s important to note that it had been the only carrier to offer unlimited free messaging along with the android tablet which attracted many customers.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is on sale at T-Mobile US for $599 off-contract and $399 with data plans.

    I just got a Galaxy Tab with data plan on contract from T-mob yesterday and my plan shows I have unlimited text messaging. (Additional Services: Unlimited Domestic Messages – $0.00)

    I just got my first bill and as of today 4 Dec 2010 I still have mine as well… I think this was a big error of a story. LOL!
