Samsung announced on Friday that it has sold over 1 million Galaxy Tabs in just over 1 month since its global launch. With this news, the Korean company achieved its goal of 1 million android tablets sold and now raised the target to 1,5 million units by the end of this year.
Samsung also announced that it has sold over 100,000 Galaxy Tab units in its home country, Korea, which shows a strong start since launch.
“We were able to achieve 1 million global sales as initial supplies ran out quickly around the world after the Galaxy Tab’s launch,”,said Lee Young-hee, head of marketing at Samsung’s mobile division
