T-Mobile US Samsung Galaxy Tab on-contract price lowered by $50!

T-Mobile US announced today a new price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab on-contract version. The android slate is getting a special web-only discount from T-Mobile through which you are going to save $50 for the tablet now offered for $350 with a contract. The android slate was priced at $400 before the online discount.

It seems that the Galaxy Tab is getting discounts before Christmas, the android slate receiving also a price cut in UK where its new price is £420 off-contract ($653).

    If the off-contract price dropped by $50-$100 U.S., then I would jump on it. Plans with T-mobile cost either $25 per month for 200 MB per month or $40 for 5 GB. The lowest rate available, ($25+tax)* 24 months, increases the price of your $350 galaxy tab to a whopping $1040. Now, with the 5 GB package brings the price up to about $1454. It’s a great device but too costly right now.
