Galaxy Tab 10.1 Lands in Kenya

The world’s thinnest tablet is now available for sale in Kenya.

Samsung said the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will support HSPA+ network speeds of up to 21Mbps as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity to enable fast downloading and reduced data transfer times.

Samsung’s Deputy Managing Director, Robert Ngeru continued to emphasize the tablet’s potential: “By combining Samsung’s innovations in design and display with exciting new user experience, we’ve created a new world class product that will lead the tablet market.”

At authorized retailers in Kenya, the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 sells for Sh49,999 ($524 USD) while the Galaxy Tab P7500 10.1 goes for Sh70,000 or approximately $733 USD.
