The latest member of the Samsung tablet family has arrived. Meet the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus!
There’s no price point just yet on the 7-inch dual-core Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet with TouchWIZ UI.
However, Samsung hopes to have it ready for sale in Indonesia and Austria by the end of October before it rolls-out in Southeast and Southwest Asia, US, Europe, CIS, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Japan and China.
When you do get your hands on one, expect a 7-inch PLS LCD display with WSVGA (1024×600) resolution powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Also, the 7.0 Plus will be available in 16GB and 32GB models featuring 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA+, USB host support, a microUSB port and two cameras- a 3MP camera with LED flash in the rear plus a 2MP camera in the front.
JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung Mobile Communications said: “Samsung pioneered the seven-inch tablet market with the launch of the GALAXY Tab, marking an innovation milestone in the mobile industry. Building on the success of the GALAXY Tab, we’re now delighted to introduce the GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus reloaded with enhanced portability, productivity and a richer multimedia experience.”
