The UK’s most popular tourist destination, the big ferris wheel called the EDF Energy London Eye, will help guests get some more enjoyment and information during their visits with the help of Galaxy 10.1 tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets will be furnished in the London Eye’s capsules providing a touch-screen guide to 44 of the buildings and structures which can be seen from the wheel.
The interactive guide enables guests to view key information about the landmarks with 360 degree day and night views from the London Eye and bird’s eye views of some of the key landmarks.
Andy Griffiths, Managing Director, Samsung UK and Ireland said: “We’re delighted to be able to enhance the experience of London tourists and residents when they visit one of the Capital’s best known landmarks. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the perfect device for giving you all the information you need at your fingertips and its innovative screen technology ensures viewing that content is just as enjoyable. Our collaboration with the EDF Energy London Eye, which came about through Samsung’s tier one sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games, allows us to demo the product in a real-life situation where people have a genuine need for an interactive device.”
