Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE Launches in S. Korea

South Korean customers might have been shaking their heads in disbelief that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 model wasn’t placed on the early delivery schedule in Samsung’s own home market.

But the wait is over! Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE will be available in South Korea from SK Telecom at the cost of 800,000 won without a contract, which is about $700 USD.

Initially, customers will have to settle for the Android 3.2 / Honeycomb OS and wait for the upcoming roll out of Android 4.0 / Ice Cream Sandwich. However, the world’s thinnest tablet will be equipped with something a bit special, namely, support for voice calls over LTE.

Additionally, it sports a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 7.7 Super AMOLED Plus display (1280×800), dual cameras, 16/32 GB of internal storage and gorilla glass coating.
