Sales Ban on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Lifted in U.S.

The temporary sales ban held on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been lifted by a US court.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales ban was issued in June 2012 before the Apple versus Samsung trial, which eventually ended with Apple winning more than $1 billion in damages. But in that case, the jury found that Samsung had not violated the particular patent that was the basis for the sales ban.

In the latest round of legal battles between the two technology giants, which spans 10 countries altogether, Samsung has filed a motion on Oct. 2nd against Apple claiming the iPhone 5 infringes on some of the company’s patents.
