Marvell Chip Powers Samsung’s GALAXY Tab 3 7.0

For those who aren’t familiar, Samsung’s GALAXY Tab 3 7.0 is powered by Marvel’s ARMADA Mobile PXA986 platform.

Marvell said the 3G and Wi-Fi versions of the GALAXY Tab 3 7.0 tablet feature the PXA986 chip to help deliver advanced multimedia and graphics capabilities as well as provide universal connectivity and low-cost processing power.

The GALAXY Tab 3 7.0 also employs Marvell’s latest wireless connectivity technology (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth), RF transceivers, integrated power management and audio codec solutions.
